Cedar Lounge Beirut – In Picture
Back in February I travelled to Lebanon and on the way back got a chance to check out this lounge. It’s currently being used by various airlines, including for Emirates First & Business class customers! I was surprised just how huge it actually was. Catering was limited, during my mid-morning pre-lunchtime visit. It seems this was a Covid related reduction, that has sadly still remained!
Location & Access
The lounge is located upstairs, after security and passport control turn right. You can either take the stairs or an elevator up. There you will also find a Qatar Airways lounge too.
You might get an invitation card from your airline if you are flying Business. The lounge is also part of the Priority Pass network, so you can also use that to enter.
Cedar Lounge Space
After you enter via the reception desks you are immediately in this huge terrace-like space where the lounge spits off into several areas.
The main open plan space on the left overlooks the taxi ways where you can plane spot while chilling out with a refreshment.
Alongside single chairs, there are larger sofas for families and friends to socialise together.
I found the lounge to be very serene and peaceful, with only a handful of people in there..
On the right side, there are more intimate/smaller spaces, with stool type seating.
There are refreshment and snack stations available in all the different areas..
The bathrooms were also nice and well kept.
There is also a little Games room!
Last but not least, you will find several local art peaces scattered around the huge central skylit area.
