Sleek Air France Business Lounge 2E – In Pictures
Last month, I visited Air France Business Lounge 2E as I travelled through Paris a couple of times, including flying Air France for the very first time! I thus got to see a couple of Air France Business Lounges and they both genuinely impressed with their sleek architectures, facilities and furniture! In this post I will focus on the lounge in 2E, which I was invited to just before my Aeromexico flight overnight flight into Mexico.
Access & Location
Charles de Gaulle terminal 2 is fairly large and some of the gates are far apart from each other. This lounge is near gates K, L & M. The walk there feels like you are almost exiting the terminal and you have to get stairs/elevator up to the lounge.
You have access to this lounge if you are flying on Air France or a SkyTeam airline Business Class or flying Economy with them with Flying Blue Gold status or above.
Air France Business Lounge 2E – The Space
The entrance to this lounge is quite interesting.. with this really calming wall feature..
and here’s another short clip..
Air France Business Lounge 2E – Food & Beverage
Scattered across this lounge you will find various self service buffet station where you can grab a quick bite or refreshment.
Compared to some other business class lounges, this is perhaps one area where the Air France business class lounge falls short. The choice and range of items where actually rather limited..
The selection consisted of mostly salads and small nibbles.
There is however a chefs station where they serve hot food, which will have a specific item they serve at that day/night.
On offer for the night was a fresh seafood pasta, which was prepared fresh right in front of me..
This was rather nice, but most certainly did not feel like a proper dinner (it was dinner time alright).
Air France Business Lounge 2E – Other Facilities
This lounge comes with a Clarins Spa, where you can book a complimentary treatment, however, when I tried to check it out it looked like it was already closed.
Another cool feature that this lounge has was a Sauna! Yes, I first tried an airport Sauna in Finnair’s Helsinki lounge, which was such an awesome feature. However, I did not seem to
Further in, you will find a kids play area..
and finally, it seemed like there is what looks like another entrance area but it was closed up..
Overall Thoughts
I was honestly surprised with this lounge and was not expecting much. I found it very pleasant and I will happily use this if flying out of Paris again. It’s a shame when you enter they do not explain the facilities available. Primarily, I would have ensured I tried to book a spa treatment at Clarins, had I known this was an available facility in advance.
