Travel Tips & Practical Advice

  • Advance booking is essential for all of these—especially for remote spots (Antarctica, Fiji, Maldives).

  • Layered packing matters: many of these places require you to bring gear (thermal layers, boots, etc.), especially cold climates.

  • Check weather windows carefully: even a day’s bad weather can disrupt transfers or visibility (e.g. underwater clarity, auroras).

  • Consider remote logistics: transfers, visas, travel insurance, health precautions (malaria, vaccinations depending on region).

  • Budget everything: not just nightly rates, but flights, transfers, food, tips, and extra experiences.

So here we are, a collection of unforgettable, out of this world experiences that very few will get to experience! I will probably never get a chance to stay in half these places, but a guy can dream !
