Lounge Reviews

SkyLounge Dhaka In Pictures

The SkyLounge Dhaka is one of many lounges available in Dhaka Airport. I pass through a lot of lounges throughout my travels. Either I don’t focus on reviewing them fully, there is little to review or I just won’t have the time to otherwise put something out there, so these reviews will mostly be selection of pictures.

I recently passed through Dhaka, on my the many hops I did around Asia and down under. I was taking an afternoon flight to Bangkok, and had some time to check out this lounge.

Access & Location

The lounge is located on the upper floor of the airport, after security.

Quite a few different use this lounge. So if you fly with either of the list below, you will get complimentary access.

This is also a Priority Pass Lounge.

SkyLounge Dhaka Entrance

There is a reception, where you must check in with. Once inside, you will find a open plan seating area with a food buffet island in the middle.

I found the seating options to be quite comfortable within a relaxing ambience.

There was not many people initially, but it did get busier after about 40 minutes or so.

SkyLounge Dhaka Food & Drinks

The buffet area has a decent selection of light bites and nibbles. Note I was informed they have more hot food options later in the evening for dinner.

There are drinks stations and self help coffee/tea facilities too.

SkyLounge Dhaka Shower Facilities

The restroom facilities were of a good standard, with a shower cubicle within.

SkyLounge Dhaka Restroom

When I first checked, it was in use. However, there were a couple of attendants who informed me they will keep it free for me next (not sure if they had any formal waiting process).

About 15 minutes later I came back to check and it was ready for me. I was handed a fresh towel and asked if I wanted any body lotion etc. Other essentials were already available in the showers.

SkyLounge Dhaka Shower

The rain shower was quite refreshing.

Overall thoughts

This is a pleasant oasis in an otherwise chaotic airport. WiFi was good, so I was able to catch up able to download some more music on my Spotify app. The catering and refreshments are provided by Westin Hotel. It would be nice if they provided hot food throughout the day though.

I would not hesitate to use again.
